What We Do
We are committed to carrying out the Be Bothered Movement through free programming including Prevention Advocates sessions, attending outreach events, and providing workshops for youth and adults on underage alcohol and drug use prevention.
Prevention Advocates
Throughout Sacramento County, a strong network of youth and caring adults are working together to inform. educate, and take action on creating positive futures for our youth. These advocates meet regularly to:

-
Learn about substance/alcohol abuse prevention
-
Be a leader to help our youth be safe
-
Lead community efforts to prevent underage drinking and marijuana use in Sacramento County
-
Gain leadership skills by making presentations and learning how to advocate
-
Have fun working with other young people and parents

Join us at one of our monthly Zoom meetings to learn more about this program and see how you can take action. Youth ages 12-20 are welcome along with parent and other caring adults.
If you would like to see us at your event, contact us below! We provide information about preventing alcohol and marijuana use among youth in a fun and engaging way.
During the pandemic, we are providing this information at drive-through events in a safe and socially distant way!
Workshops
We can provide workshops for your community, school, or organization for youth, parents, caregivers or staff about ways to prevent underage drinking and marijuana use. Our workshops are engaging and informative, even over Zoom!
